Heatpump

There follows information to help readers – be you suppliers, engineers, contractors or simply those curious to learn about heat pumps and to understand what we did with Bryn Siriol, a Welsh house that has been substantially upgraded and refurbished, where we have installed a Ground Source Heat Pump and, soon, possibly solar panels and wind generator to come if the economics work out.

There are three forms of data to download

1) one photograph of the front garden and some of most of the elevations from varous angles

2a) the original spread sheet for heat losses  as best I can estimate for a steady state of minus 3 and 18 degrees Centigrade difference and …

2b) An adapted (as of 13/6/2007) spread sheet for heat losses including room changes per hour and all other advice given by various engieers HERE

2c) a pdf of the plans including those plans realated to heat loss spread sheets  with the excel cell numbers relating to the heat loss spread sheet
